Today we ran the cross country and although we didn't all win, we all felt proud of ourselves! Great work Room 10 I am proud of you all! : )

Postal (Mail) systems around the World!

We have already learnt that in Scotland they have letterbox slots in their front door! (Thanks Emily's aunty Mary)

and we have learnt that in Germany you can collect your parcels from a special vending machine by putting in a secret code! (thanks Emily's uncle Dan)

We have had great fun writing postcards as part of our work on communication systems. We have used ICT to put ourselves in exotic places (photobooth) and used our knowledge of descriptive language to write postcards back to our class.

We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed making them!!

Domino Racing

Friday was a wet horrible day and we couldn't go out for sport so a group of boys decided to see how long they could make a domino track. : ) We used our new gadget flipvideo to record them.

This term in writing we are learning all about different communication systems and we are writing letter and postcards. We used the photobooth application to create fantasy postcards of exotic holiday locations so we could practice writing home to our friends and family. : )
